On the 25th of October 2007, at the Kompong Thom provincial sport stadium, a very exciting health promotion titled, “Life Skills Education for HIV & AIDS Prevention”, was organised by the CSCS team to raise awareness in the community of the danger and threats of HIV & AIDS prevalence.

Smach Meanchey Primary School is a school among the targeted schools of Cambodia Basic Education (CBE) Project, Local Life Skill Program Component ( LLSP). It is located in the district town of Koh Kong Province in the south of the country, which is considered as one of the most under-served in terms of education.

In Pailin municipality, on 1 June 2007, the exhibition of students’ achievement in Ochra primary school was organised by Ochra school director in cooperation with community trainers (CSCS staff), LLSP school directors, local authority, district office of education and provincial office of education. The event was donated by CSCS, schools and communities. It was jointed by 14 schools presided over by the Vice-Governor of Pailin Municipality, Mr. Lao Bunpa. There were many speeches then followed by traditional dances, and short stories.
